A little about Sebastian,
In 2014-15, Aho capped his first full season in Finland's top league by scoring the game-winning goal in overtime of Game 7 of the championship series.
It was the beginning of a memorable spring for Aho, who was selected by the Carolina Hurricanes in the second round (No. 35) in the 2015 NHL Draft.
The forward returned to Karpat for the 2015-16 season and produced 20 goals and 45 points in 45 games, but his best hockey may have come at the World Championship, where he tied for sixth in scoring with three goals and four assists in 10 games for Finland.
Two of Aho's assists came during a 3-1 Finland win over Russia in the semifinals. Aho was named player of the game for the eventual silver medalists.
That medal is one of three Aho won with Finland in international competition. He was also a part of Finland's silver medal-winning team at the World Under-18 Championship in 2015 and a part of its gold medal-winning team at the 2016 World Junior Championship.
Aho ranked second at the 2016 World Juniors with 14 points (five goals) in seven games. The only player to top him was fellow Hurricanes prospect Jesse Puljujarvi, who had 17 points (five goals) in seven games.
